About Amanda Gilman, MSW, LCSW

I am better known as "Mandy". I completed my education at St. Louis University in 2008 with a Masters of Social Work and emphasis in health and mental health. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Social Worker from Southwest Missouri State University and completed this 2004.

I have a strong interest in working with individuals who struggle daily with depression and anxiety, individuals who lack motivation to complete daily activities and questions how they get back to where they once were. All of these daily struggles could be greatly improved by increasing self awareness, identifying patterns of behavior, and learning to use your skills and strengths to problem solve.

I have worked as a Social Worker for 19 years and in healthcare setting for approximately 16 years and have been trained to use the integrative approach. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing is often the approach to treatment.

Treatment is offered in both the individual setting and group setting. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider.
